Who is NFT Girl?
I am a 10 year old Canadian girl who is still too shy to step into the spotlight. I will try to remain anonymous... At least for now... My purpose with this project is to share my Scribbles and how I go about making my art with everyone. You can help me in my quest to make NFT Girl a successful and famous artist by following me, sharing my posts on social media, scheduling drawing lessons with me and buying my art!
Why is my art special to me?
My art is special to me because it reminds me of lots of things. It reminds me of my younger half of childhood, because when I was merely in grade one, my teacher introduced this painting art style. Start with a pencil make big “scribbles” and paint an animal with detail with it. I’m sure I was probably confused, but then, I realized it was fun! So I started doing it, changing LOTS of things on the way. First off mine are rarely animals and mostly faces. Second, I don’t add too much detail. (I’ll explain on the second thing my art reminds me of.) Third off mine has a different vibe. Crazy colorful and IMPOSSIBLE! That’s how I started off.
It also reminds me of cartoons. Sweet, fun, crazy, animated cartoons. I loved them as a little kid. (I still do.) I love my style of NUTS! In a good way. It makes me happy. It was a way to go wild! To be artsy, exciting, entertained, pleased and more. My art is simple, but it’s filled with a fresh perspective. Another thing, my scribble art is not inspired, I discovered when I was three years old.
Why do I do art?
Well, it’s an easy answer. When I draw, I don’t actually draw what I feel. Or any of that mushy stuff. I just draw because of the satisfaction my pencil and markers feel in my hand and on my paper. I do it because I want to. I do it because I like my work and some other people do. I don’t do it because it’s relaxing or calming or peaceful. I do it simply because what I leave on the page is what I like. I just want to share my art with you all. I definitely know that every inch of my room is covered with my art.
